Master Orlando Rivadiniera
With a career spanning more than four decades in Taekwondo, Master Orlando brings a lifetime dedicated to martial arts, teaching, and athlete development.
His journey began in Cali, Colombia, where in 1983 he received a Certificate of Honor awarded by renowned masters Woo Young Lee and Young Ho Sha. In May 1986, he earned his 1st Dan Black Belt, certified by the Colombian Taekwondo Federation, marking the beginning of a distinguished competitive and instructional career. He later achieved his 3rd Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt in March 2009 and his 4th Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt in October 2017,November 2023 his 5th Dan solidifying his technical excellence and international recognition.
In December 2009, Master Orlando received a Letter of Recommendation from the Colombian Taekwondo Federation in recognition of his dedication, professionalism, and contributions to the sport. He served as an instructor for the National League of Cali, Colombia, actively competing in national and regional championships at the highest levels.
In 1988, Master Orlando relocated to Miami, where he began teaching at Rod’s Taekwondo. He continued to compete in state and national events throughout Florida and later founded his own school, Orlando’s Taekwondo, where he trained and mentored numerous students and competitors, leaving a lasting impact on the martial arts community.
Fate later reunited him with Master Dani, whom Master Orlando had trained when Master Dani was just 12 years old. This reunion opened a new chapter, as Master Dani welcomed him into his schools in Doral and Tamiami, strengthening a legacy built on respect, loyalty, and shared growth.
Today, Master Orlando is a proud member of United Martial Arts, where he continues to share his knowledge, discipline, and passion, inspiring new generations of martial artists and upholding the highest standards of excellence inside and outside the dojang.
