Master Isabella

Master Isabella Carrandi-Betancor is a world-class martial artist, elite coach, and inspiring leader whose passion for Taekwondo extends far beyond the mat. Holding the rank of 4th Dan Kukkiwon Master, 5th Dan Jidokwan Master, and 5th Dan Moo Duk Kwan, Master Isabella also carries the prestigious World Taekwondo Moo Duk Kwan International Instructor Certificate, reflecting her deep technical knowledge and global recognition in the art.

As an athlete, Master Isabella has built an extraordinary competitive legacy. She proudly represented the United States as an AAU/USA National Team Member from 2018–2020 and dominated the national stage as an AAU National Champion every year from 2012–2020. Her international success includes earning a Bronze Medal at the Pan American Open (2015). Additionally, she claimed the titles of US Chung Do Kwan Association National Champion and Grand Champion from 2012–2019. Her excellence has been recognized through multiple Awards of Merit from the City of Miami and Sweetwater, special recognition from the Office of the Chief of Police of Hialeah Gardens for extraordinary dedication and performance in national and international Taekwondo competitions, and a Congressional Recognition for her outstanding and invaluable service to the community.

As a coach, Master Isabella has been developing champions since 2019, successfully guiding athletes to podium finishes at some of the most prestigious events in the sport, including the Presidents Cup, US Open, Canada Open, AAU Nationals, USA Taekwondo Nationals, Team Trials, and numerous local and state championships. She is a Level 1 World Taekwondo Certified Coach, known for blending high-performance training with mentorship, discipline, and confidence-building.

Beyond competition, Master Isabella is deeply committed to education and lifelong learning. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science from Miami Dade College and is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational and Rehabilitation Studies at Florida International University Honors College. She has earned a place on the Dean’s List every semester at both MDC and FIU Honors and is a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is deeply passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments that empower individuals of all abilities to grow, perform, and succeed both in sport and in life.
